Deposit Replacement

With our partnership with Reposit we can offer a deposit replacement. As a landlord, this will mean you will be covered for up to eight weeks’ rent – three weeks’ more than a traditional cash deposit.
There are numerous benefits of using Reposit, as a deposit replacement for you as a landlord:


- Free of charge.

- Attractive for tenants, who pay a one-week charge, rather than a traditional five
weeks’ upfront deposit.


- Provides up to eight weeks’ rent to cover your property, protecting you as a landlord
from unreasonable damage and rent arrears.


- Tenants are still liable for any damages, cleaning and rent arrears. If any payments
are required at the end of the tenancy, Reposit recovers the payment from the tenants.

Energy Performance Certificates
(EPC's)

Landlords are required to have an Energy Performance Certificate every ten years. This will be required upon advertising the property, and with our in-house service this can be done promptly

without delay!

 

Currently the minimum rating is set at ‘E’ or higher however, the Government are encouraging landlords where they can that they should aim for ‘C’ rating or above and there could be legislation in the future to reflect this.
